Ruyi Mahjong: large ivory mahjong tiles arranged in a layered layout
Design brief

A calm harbour, not a source of frustration

We wanted a puzzle game you can open on a quiet afternoon and put down feeling better than before. That meant removing the three things that make most tile games stressful: tiny artwork, punishing timers and layouts that become unsolvable without you knowing.

  • No countdown, no energy meter, no “watch this ad to continue”.
  • Every layout is checked so the hint button always has a real answer.
  • Difficulty rises gently — boards get richer as your skill does.
Who it's for

Seniors, commuters and everyone in between

Oversized tiles and high contrast make the game comfortable for older players and low-vision eyes, while the layered layouts and shuffle helper keep puzzle veterans busy.

  • Daily mental exercise: memory, focus, pattern recognition.
  • Travel-friendly — a plane, a train, a waiting room all work.
  • Auto-save means the board is exactly where you left it.
Feature breakdown

Three things players mention first

Large Tiles feature — oversized readable mahjong tiles with free cells highlighted 01 · Large tiles

Goodbye, eye strain

High-contrast, extra-large tiles on a soft green felt background. Faces stay legible at arm's length, in bright sunlight, on a small phone or a big tablet — and after an hour of play you still feel like reading a book.

How to play

Learn it in ten seconds

1

Find a matching pair

A tile is free when it isn't covered and has at least one open side — left or right. Two identical free tiles make a pair.

2

Tap to clear them

Both tiles lift off the board and the layer underneath is revealed. Keep going until the table is empty.

3

Stuck? Ask for help

Use the hint lamp to see the next move, or the shuffle blossom to redeal the free tiles. The board is never a dead end.

4

Come back anytime

Progress saves automatically, so the exact board is waiting for you whenever you return — on any connection, including none.
